Test Results

The results of my glucose test came back normal! Good to know that I don't have to start a strict diet to get through the last 10 weeks. But my hemoglobin was a bit low, which wasn't a surprise, as I've been anemic on and off for many years. So I'm taking an additional iron supplement and trying to eat more iron-rich foods.

Last night we went to the mall to have some portraits taken with the belly...it wasn't a great sitting, but we found a few that were sweet to hang in the nursery.

I also want to send out a quick prayer request for two people very near to our hearts - my brother, Randy, and Grandma Thomsen.

Randy was in the hospital last weekend and is having trouble with his seizure medications - pray that everything levels out for him in time to celebrate a big 30th birthday in May!!

My Grandma had surgery on her back Monday and is recovering in the Pender Hospital. Everything went well but she's in pain and will need lots of support as she works toward back to normal. The Royals start playing next week so hopefully they get off to a great start. She's also be watching Husker baseball, I'm sure!
