Embathy Belly

Last night at childbirth class the men were able to "experience" pregnancy for all of 5-10 minutes by wearing an Empathy Belly. The moms thought of things for them to do that are difficult, like tying our shoes, rolling over in bed, etc. They all walked around with their hands holding up the 40-lb weight in front. My challenge for Jarrett was the shave his bikini line - which is like shaving blind - and his comment was, "The belly just doesn't move out of the way!" Huh! But he agreed that sitting on the ball feels very good. I'll be sitting on the ball during labor as long as it helps!
