4 Months Old!

Joselyn is 4 months old and had a great check-up with the pediatrician yesterday! She's on track or ahead of the pace for developmental milestones and, besides a little stuffy nose, is feeling good today. She loves to hold her own bottle, and insists on taking breaks at her own pace.

Her vital statistics are as follows:

Weight - 15 lb 1 oz, 75%

Height - 25 1/2", 95%

Head - 16 1/4", 50%

Feet - and just for the fun of it, we are measuring her big feet - 4.1"

It's amazing to me that her head has grown by 4 inches and her body 5 inches since birth.

We started on cereal and will do oatmeal and then baby food in the coming weeks. So far she just really likes to play with the spoon - but she's getting more comfortable in the high chair every time we try to feed her.

With the weather turning colder, I packed away a bunch of cute stuff and went shopping last week for more 3-6 mo clothes with long sleeves. So far she doesn't mind getting all bundled up.
