8 Weeks Old

Eight weeks seems to be a time full of milestones for Joselyn...she is quite happy, makes the funniest expressions, and is beginning to interract with us in conversation more and more.


She passed the pediatrician's 8-week check-up with flying colors. The time I've spent educating and training her while home on maternity leave is really paying off ;o) She continues to hold her head up really well, loves to sit or stand on our laps, and enjoys being on her tummy more since she's figured out how to scoot a bit in her bare feet.

Since she likes being upright so much, I put her in the Bumbo seat and she LOVES it! It's like finally we sat her up like a big girl and she's happy as a clam.

"Seriously, Mom, you want me to do flashcards already?"
